Graduate Student Leave and No Show Processing
Approximately four weeks into the term RJA767_A Option 1 is scheduled to run. Option selects students not enrolled with the expected graduation term not equal to the term entered. Transactions are produced that will close the matriculations for this group of students and will set Admissions Status to NS for students deemed to be no-shows for all prior terms. Mailers are printed for those students who have been enrolled in at least one term since the "Mailer Term" specified at run time (the terms selected normally include one full year).
After the application or graduation deadline, Option 2 is scheduled to run. Option 2 selects students not enrolled with the expected graduation term equal to the current term. Each student is notified that they will be enrolled int he appropriate one hour research course. Mailers generated from Options 1 and 2 have hard-coded text contained int he DTR program that makes up the first paragraphs. An additional paragraph may be added by the user by entering text into an EDT file via A1JOB RBA676_A.
