Fall Convocation Video Streaming - September 6, 2007
Jeannette Walls , author of the 2008 Summer Reading Book, "The Glass Castle ," will be the Fall Convocation speaker.
Fall Convocation 2008 will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 4th in the Holmes Convocation Center.

Convocation formally opens the academic year with a ceremony that celebrates Appalachian State University's mission, accomplishments, and educational community. The ceremony begins with the recognition of the achievements and dedication of faculty, staff and students to Appalachian State University. The Convocation address given by Ms. Jeannete Walls, author of the summer reading program book, The Glass Castle , concludes the ceremony.
An archived version of Fall Convocation will be available the week of September 17, 2008.
