Spring 2010 Registration
In order to register for
Appalachian courses for Spring Semester 2010, you MUST read and follow the
information below. If you
have questions, or will not enroll in Spring courses, immediately contact your
cohort's Program Manager, Office of Extension & Distance Education:

COHORT SEATS - YOU MUST REGISTER FOR ASU COURSES November 9 - 20,
2009. Be aware - if you do not register during this period, your
seat may be reassigned to those on course waitlists.

IMPORTANT NOTE
-- Access to the registration system
is based on your classification and total earned hours (institutional and
transfer), which may be viewed under the Check Your Registration Status
link. (Rest assured, off-campus cohorts provide guaranteed seats in the
respective cohort courses to members of the cohort - regardless of their
classification at the time of registration - so long as students register
during their appointed times.)

Once you have
determined your classification and number of earned hours, go to http://www.registrar.appstate.edu/spring2010.html
to learn the designated day and time for which you have access to the
registration system.
NOTE: YOU MUST REGISTER VIA APPALNET
SPRING TEXT INFORMATION WILL BE
AVAILABLE VIA THE SCHEDULE OF CLASSES BY DECEMBER 1. To identify
textbooks, go to http://www.registrar.appstate.edu/schedules/
and choose the semester (top, left box), the appropriate Undergraduate or
Graduate Schedule, and your cohort. When the "View Textbook
Information" link is active, access that page. You may purchase texts
from a variety of sources, including the Appalachian's University Bookstore
(telephone (800-792-6657, FAX 828-262-2614, or email (jacksonll@appstate.edu).
Tuition should be posted to your Student Account
by November 26 - with payment due on December
17. Failure to pay by December 17, will result in the cancellation
of registration.
IMPORTANT REMINDER - the last day to drop/add classes for the
Spring 2010 semester is January 15, 2010. Please be aware that reducing your class schedule (dropping a
course) after this date is not eligible
for adjustment/refund. For more
