SPRING SEMESTER 2010 - ACADEMIC CALENDAR

A REMINDER:  On-line access to the University's student records and registration system is available only from 7:00AM to 6:00PM, Monday through Friday.  
With the exception of holidays, the Office of Extension and Distance Education is open from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday; the Student Account's
Office is open from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday.  Any transaction required below must occur during these hours.
 
 
11/09/09 - 11/20/10 Registration for Spring 2010 for continuing off-campus students through the WEB Registration System (WRS).
11/26/09 Billing statements for Spring 2010 mailed to student's PERMANENT address
12/03/09 through 12/04/09 Schedule Adjustment for Spring 2010
12/17/09 Payment of Tuition and fees for Spring 2010 due by this date. FAILUE TO PAY BY THIS DATE WILL RESULT IN CANCELLATION OF EARLY REGISTRATION.

WRS open to continuing/returning off-campus students who have NOT registered for courses in this term.    Special (non-degree) students will not have access to registration until 1:00PM

01/08/10 Advance drop-add--- WRS open to all students.
01/11/10 First Day of Classes
01/11/10 - 01/15/10 Drop-add period--WRS open to all students
01/15/10
  • Last day to add a class, change the section of a class, change a course from credit to audit, or choose the pass-fail option
  • Last day to reduce class schedule and be eligible for a refund
  • Last day to drop a course without having the drop count in the undergraduate limit of four (see section entitled "Drop-Add" under "University Policies and Procedures").

TBA Last day to apply for graduation in Spring 2010
03/08/10 - 03/12/10 University Break

  • Last day to drop a full semester course
  • Last day to drop the "pass-fail" option on a full semester course
  • Last day to withdraw (discontinue all classes) from the fall semester without academic penalty (Students who wish to withdraw must contact the Office of Extension & Distance Education by 5:00 p.m. on this date).
04/13/10 - 04/14/10 State Holidays
05/05/10 Last day of classes
05/07/10 Last day to submit final grades (all grades must be submitted by 1:00 PM)
05/08/10 and 05/09/10 Commencement ceremonies
