Applying for Undergraduate Graduation
All seniors must formally apply for graduation at the beginning of the semester in which they plan to graduate.
Currently Enrolled Students
Graduation applications are emailed to the ASU email address at the beginning of the semester in which a student has indicated that they plan to graduate. Applications are emailed approximately two weeks after registration. The application received in your email must be printed and returned to the Registrar’s Office by the deadline indicated. Failure to return the completed application will result in your not being cleared for graduation.
Student Teachers
North Carolina Teacher License candidates are required to complete the Licensure Application Form.
Click here for the Teacher Licensure Packet. The completed Licensure Application must be retuned with your Application for Graduation.
In order to print graduation application materials you must have Adobe Reader software installed on your computer. To download a free copy of Adobe Reader, please click here: Acrobat Reader 6.0
Students Not Currently Enrolled at Appalachian
Graduation applications are emailed to currently enrolled students only. Students planning to graduate during a semester in which they are not enrolled, may request an application by contacting the Registrar's Office.
