August Graduation Applications were E-mailed to students' appstate.edu E-mail account on Thursday, January 28, 2010.

December 2009 Graduation Information

  • Degrees have been posted. If you have a shortage, please contact your Dean's Office regarding your shortage.
  • Final transcripts were mailed January 12, 2010 if a request had been placed.
  • Diplomas where mailed January 27-29, 2010.
  • Please note that it is a policy of the State of North Carolina that neither diplomas nor transcripts can be released if the student has an unpaid account with the University. If you have not received your diploma, check your Student Account balance by going to your Appalnet account. Note also that students who have received a federal loan (Perkins or Stafford) are required to have an "exit interview" prior to graduation.

  • Graduation Applications are due by 5:00 Friday, February 12, 2010.
  • Since there is not a formal August graduation ceremony, you are invited to walk in the May ceremony with your college or school. Although your official graduation date will be August, you are eligible to participate (walk) and your name will appear in the program by returning the application by February 12, 2010.

Ceremony Accommodations

Interpreters will be provided during most ceremonies and projected on a screen. Interpreters will not be signing individual names for all graduating students. Please contact the Office of Disability Services for a request of an interpreter at a specific ceremony, an individual name to be signed or other accommodation request by April 30, 2010.
