Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial Transcript / Mail Service

An unofficial transcript does not bear the signature of the University Registrar. It will have the inscription "ISSUED TO STUDENT" on its face. Unofficial transcripts can ONLY be mailed to or picked up by the student. There is no charge for the mailing of an unofficial transcript. Unofficial transcript request forms are available online or in the Registrar's Office.

Unofficial Transcript / Fax Service

At the written request of the student, a transcript can be faxed to the student, another collegiate institution or to a prospective employer. Please understand, however, that the transcript will be considered an unofficial document. There is a $5.00 faxing charge for each transcript. Fax transcript request forms are available online or in the Registrar's Office.

Appalachian State University
Registrar's Office

User Name Look Up

You must have a User Name and Password to access your transcript. If you can’t remember your User Name, use the “Need Help?” link on the Direct Link to Web Self-Service / Banner page. After you have confirmed your User Name and Password, you can login.

Password Manager

If you can’t remember your password and have an active e-mail account, you must use the Password Manager to reset your password. If you have a “challenge question” you will be able to reset your password by correctly answering your challenge question and providing your date of birth and Social Security Number. Otherwise, you’ll need to use the Alternate Authentication method to reset your password.

Use of Confidential Information

The User Name Look Up and Password Manager process requires confidential information to confirm your identity. The information requested, included Social Security Number (SSN), is used in a secure manner to confirm your account information and provide the necessary credentials for access to your records.
