Registration Status
On AppalNet, you can view the date and time of your initial access to WRS.
After initial access is granted WRS will be available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week during scheduled registration period.
Web Registration System (WRS) Registration Appointments
Each student eligible for registration is assigned an appointment by day and time, allowing initial and on-going access to registration for specific academic terms. After appointments are assigned, students are notified electronically by e-mail and the Personal Announcements and Notification System (PANS) to view their appointment information using AppalNET. The Registration Status link, on the Student Services page in AppalNET, informs the student of various items that affect their registration. This page includes appointment information, required advising status, and any holds that would prevent registration.
If Required Advisement is noted in the Academic Advisement section of this notification, schedule an appointment with the University Office indicated prior to your access date and time. All registration holds indicated in this notification must be cleared with the appropriate University office.
Required Advising
Students are notified to view their registration status on AppalNET. This page includes required advising status, appointment information, and any holds that would prevent registration.
A WRS worksheet is sent to the department for each student who is required to be advised. This worksheet contains the three-digit advising number, which allows access to registration once advising has been completed. Students who misplace their WRS worksheet should contact the department to have the advisement number duplicated. Dean's and department offices will have a printed master list containing advisement numbers. (Note to administrative staff: this information is available on SIS, screen VR6 and as an electronic report in the E-Print system.)
