Course notes provide information about the course such as course prerequisites, co-requisites and other special registration requirements.

Course Numbering System

0001-0999 Developmental 4000-4999 Senior
1000-1999 Freshman 5000 and above Graduate
2000-2999 Sophomore 6000 and above Specialist
3000-3999 Junior 7000 and above Doctoral

(Prior to fall, 2001 courses numbered 4500-4999 were "Senior/Graduate"; i.e., they could be used as part of either an undergraduate or graduate program.) This numbering system does not preclude the possibility of students taking courses above or below the level of their classification provided they meet stated requirements.
